The Modest Company started in January of 2023 as a Virtual Assistant Company with a focus on helping women small business owners and entrepreneurs. Much to our surprise, we became more of a Public Relations Specialist and less of a Virtual Assistant.
With the wave of a wand, we went from being a Virtual Assistant business to a Public Relations organization.
The Modest Company still focuses on helping women small business owners and entrepreneurs. We focus on Public Relations education, making your brand visible, and maintaining a positive public image.

Meet the Owner
My name is Angel Wilborn
I hold a Master of Arts in Public Relations and a Certificate in Event Planning.
I am a behind-the-scenes kind of girl, which is why PR is perfect for me! I do a little happy dance when a plan comes together, or a crisis is adverted!
I believe in honesty, kindness, and organization, which is how I run my business.
In addition to being a fabulous PR Specialist, I am also a wife and a mom! There is usually a caffeinated beverage, a notepad, and a pen close to me!
In my spare time, I enjoy organizing (seriously), having game nights with my family, trying new restaurants, and, most importantly, napping!
